Who are we?
We help people close the gap between who they are and how they live.
Quiet Leaders Academy began with an observation: many thoughtful, capable people were holding themselves back because they didn't look or sound like the leaders they saw around them.
The prevailing model of leadership often rewarded visibility, confidence and performance. People who were quieter, more reflective or simply different could easily conclude that leadership wasn't for them.
But the more we explored that problem, the clearer something became. It wasn't only about leadership.
The same tension can appear throughout our lives: between who we are and who we think we should be, between what matters to us and what the world rewards, and between the life we've built and the life we actually want.
Quiet Leaders Academy grew from leadership into an exploration of that much bigger question: how do we become more fully ourselves and build lives that reflect it?
Meet the Founder
Graham Dodds founded Quiet Leaders Academy after more than 30 years working with people and organisations across investment management, banking, government, consulting and technology.
Throughout that career, he became increasingly interested in the gap between people's potential and the lives they actually lead. He saw thoughtful, capable people hold themselves back because they didn't fit conventional ideas of leadership or success. He also saw people achieve considerable success while becoming increasingly disconnected from who they were and what mattered to them.
His work brings together decades of leadership experience with training in business psychology, coaching, behavioural science and data and AI. These ideas underpin the frameworks, writing and practical work of Quiet Leaders Academy.
Graham created QLA to help more people understand themselves, realise more of their potential and build lives that feel genuinely their own.
